workshop
Workshops will be held every week through out the project period. Participants will join with the artists to investigate the local area of Akihabara and its public spaces. Together they will examine the penetration of media technology in the physical environment and consider its impact upon how we inhabit these spaces while questioning the very meaning of public space itself. The group will experiment in occupying these spaces in different ways, creating interventions which may subtly break the unspoken codes which proliferate here while pursuing a transformative action which may allow for individual and collective expression within the urban environment.
